Bucket List Review
Last night kathy and I rented the bucket list. The premise of the movie is inspiring. Two people facing death decide to do an entire list of amazing things together. Before they kick the bucket. Having read In a Pit with a Lion, bucket list is right in line with that book.
The movie itself wasn’t as good as the story could have been. Wasn’t too impressed with jack Nicholson who has really been the same character for the past decade. Morgan freeman was great though.
Those are my thoughts.
Amazing Grace Movie
Amazing grace is one of my favorite songs of all time. The trailer for the Movie is up here
It looks like it’s going to be a really great movie. I’ll be seeing it.
Good Weekend
Well this was a wonderful weekend.
Mikey and Lani got hitched yesterday, great ceremony, we had African food which was unique and delicious. Congrats to them, I hope they enjoy their gifts and their honeymoon, I think they are cruising. I don’t know.
I also came into contact with the New Clapton CD, on the road to Escondido. This album features J.J. Cale who’s songs Clapton has been covering for years so they finally teamed up. Good stuff, bluesier than his last record. So that was good.
Also Sting’s new album Songs from the Labrynth, which is Lute Music. Really beautiful music but for some reason he reads letters or something from this original Lute Player, but it turns out to be creepy. Sting, just sing, and don’t make every album a lute album. Please!
Also Kathy and I saw Stranger Than Fiction, which I loved. I thought it was a great movie, really smart, Will Ferrell was great funny but also very real. I would recommend it.
Long Week
Well today marks the end of a seemingly long week.
Tonight Kathy and I will go see stranger than fiction the new Will Ferrell Movie. I love that will, he’s a hoot.
Tomorrow we are going to a big sample sale down at C&B’s distribution center in Renton. I can get some nice stuff for not that much money. ROCK ON!!! Merry Christams.
Pray for Creekside becuase this week we are presenting a big need and we need some big prayers so please pray!
Mikey and Lani are getting married so congrats in advance to them.
And because of said wedding, I will get a break from >>beyond>> which will be nice.
See you later, have a great weekend.
Superman & Jesus, any similarities
I for one am as giddy as a school-girl for the new superman movie. Bryan Singer is the man and I know that he’s is going to do Superman justice, like he did with X-men.
But I came across this article today and I thought I would post it. It is an interesting read, and it’s always cool to see how pop-cultrure and our faith can cross paths.
So read the CNN article here
