Staff Devotions 2

Here is last weeks staff devotions you can read the text for Colossians 1:18-29 here

Below are my bullet points for what I talked about.

What Jesus Did

-Christ is the start and the finish and in the mean time he holds it all together

-So Spacious is everything that’s of God finds it’s place in him

-Because of his death he can fix the broken pieces.

What is Jesus doing now?
-He is putting our lives togehter -making us whole and holy.
– Where is Jesus putting us back together? is it family? Pride? Insecurity? Faith? Purpose? future?
– We don’t need to be all figuredout right now — Jesus is putting us together
– What do we need to do? Stay focused on the Gospel – Jesus dided and roser for us and the rest of the world.

Paul’s Sufferin –> Jesus Suffered — > The Church suffers so that the messagecan get out.

All the suffering now –
-Glory someday –> we’ll share and dwell in Jesus Christ!
-Every thing we face is worth it because of this promise.

what’s the message — Jesus — How do we get it out?

What’s maturity — Being Basic – Stick to the gospel (we don’t have to get all fancy pants) it’s all about using Common Sense.
