So I thought I’d give bing.com a shot. Bing is the new Microsoft search engine that is replacing (?) live and trying to take on google. I did a very simple search in both bing and google, I searched for “Jason Deuman”.
As the owner of the domain, jasondeuman.com, I would hope that whenever someone typed in my name my blog would be the first thing that came up.
Google’s top hit – jasondeuman.com
bing’s top hit – some skribt profile that I’ve never done anything with. My blog wasn’t even on the first page.
That’s not really going to be my go to search engine. Sorry Microsoft Bing, I really do want Microsoft to succeed, but bing is discouraging.
