So last night was the last youth gathering at my house. Our next gathering is going to be October 11th, at Esperance Baptist Church. I am really excited for this change, and I am praying, praying, praying that this is a good move, and that we see some real transformation.
It has been fun meeting at my house but it will be nice to have our house be just our house for a season, and not a place for youth or college gatherings. This has not happened since we owned the house. And while it is nice to have people come to my house and it’s cool to have people hang out afterwards and just goof off and have a good ole time, it will be nice to do with out the stress and rush of getting everything ready to have people over, and make sure that my 1 and a half year old doesn’t make a mess as I clean.
One of the things that is going to be really great is the fact that we are going to have a space where everyone can show up and have room. If everyone showed up at once it would be a pretty exciting time.
