Came across this great article today on minstry to young adults. Which happens to be part of my job responsibilities. I love transit! Its a great time to get together and talk about the Bible and what it means to us today. We just finished a study of Ecclesiastes, one of the toughest but alsoContinue reading “Young Adults Want Community”

Transitions
It’s weeks like this where I am reminded that life is never static. Just when things get cozy or you develop some sort of pattern, things find a way of changing. People move, jobs end, kids grow up, life happens. And it’s these periods of transition that I think really define us as people, because oftenContinue reading “Transitions”
Youth Ministry isn’t all fun and games
Well on the heels of a few good conversations regarding our churches youth ministry I came accros this article about the changing face of student ministry. I thought it was interesting.
Long Week
Well today marks the end of a seemingly long week. Tonight Kathy and I will go see stranger than fiction the new Will Ferrell Movie. I love that will, he’s a hoot. Tomorrow we are going to a big sample sale down at C&B’s distribution center in Renton. I can get some nice stuff forContinue reading “Long Week”

And Rosie ( a lesbian) was cheering and celebrating the fact that he messed up. And Joy, who IContinue reading “Venom”
Article discussing the Haggard Situation

Something to think about
Found this quote from Internet Monk, in this rather long post. In regards to the developing Haggard Controversy Evangelicalism wants same-sex issues to be political. They are not. They are issues about who you want to have sex with, and why. In other words, they are deeply human issues, for deeply broken human beings whoContinue reading “Something to think about”
Check Yourself
I don’t know what the truth of this matter. But this should serve as a reminder to anyone in christian leadership, that we always need to watch our lives. Even if these allegations pan out to be false in certain details, somewhere, Mr. Haggard allowed the appearance of evil. And he was caught. I knowContinue reading “Check Yourself”
